Rupandehi (Pahichan) June 30 – Medical College Rani Gaun Bhairawaha Matron Chief Bishnu Gurung has said that members of this community must disclose their identity and raise their issues.
Speaking at a program jointly organized by Blue Diamond Society Bhairawaha Chapter and National HiV Aids Control Center Kathmandu, Gurung said members of this community should get entry in every government bodies as they have already received citizenship on the basis of identity.
“Along with male and female, we have to make arrangement for Others(O) category in education, health and employment” he said, adding members of this community they must play a vital role to secure their rights.
He said in the coming days, his medical college will not treat the members of this community with discrimination. He pledged to play vital role in the upper level.
Rupandehi Program Coordinator of BDS Manila Neupane informed about the discrimination to this community and health problems faced by this community. She said members of this community are not receiving health related facilities.
