Kathmandu (Pahichan) August 7 – Lawmaker Metmani Chaudhary has said that he would take initiations to make laws on same-sex marriage. Speaking to Pahichan, Chaudhary who represents Nepal Communist Party (NCP) said he got opportunity to know about sexual and gender minority.
“Sexual and gender minority are the production of this society so they should not be discriminated. There is a need of law on same-sex marriage and we will take initiations for the same,” Chaudhary said. “I will make efforts to inform Parliament about this community,” said Chaudhary.
