The website is known across the globe for providing news, reviews and activities of sexual and gender minority. It has been the victim of recent government decision to ban the porn sties.
The government move has seriously violated the freedom of speech and expression along with the rights of LGBTI.
The Ministry of Communication and Technology has said that government is forced to ban porn sites as it affected the social norms and values. The constitution has guaranteed the rights of sexual and gender minority.
Spokesperson of Nepal Telecom Min Prasad Aryal said service provider may have blocked due to the absence materials. He assured that it could be reopened after the investigation. “If the site is not obscene, it will be reopened soon,” he said.
