NHRC to issue report on current status of human rights

Kathmandu (Pahichan) June 23 – National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has said that it would make the public report regarding the violations of human rights violation of the country.

For the same purpose, NHRC has started monitoring through rapid monitoring and action group. According to secretary Bed Bhattarai, the teams are united to monitor the serious human rights violation and present report without any delay.

Issuing a press release, the NHRC has urged the concerned all to provide support from their respective areas for the protection and promotion of human rights.

In the recent days, there are threats to freedom of express, social and cultural rights, extra judicial detention and torture, violations of health rights, cross-fire, extortion, activities against rule of law among others.
