Kathmandu(Pahichan) October 31 – Central Committee member of CPN-UML Bishal Bhattarai said new constitution has ensured the rights of all sections of society. He said all people see their face the in new constitution.
He said constitution has provided rights to call class, community, region and gender. “The constitution has provided so many fundamental rights. I fear that we would not be able to implement it,” said Bhattarai.
He said rights of gender and sexual minority has been ensured in new constitution. “This community which was denied from rights from several years has received rights now,” said Bhattarai. “Now, members of this community have been recognized in the new constitution,” said Bhattarai adding that it is a result of national and international community.
“The rights of this community have been established after a long lobbying,” he said. He said rights have been institutionalized in the citizenship and passports.
He said there would be representation of class and community in the new constitution. “The constitution has ensured the rights of all community and marginalized community,” he said. He said all the parties should be united to tackle blockade. He said there is no need alternatives to bring essentials bring China.
