Ambika Dahal/Kathmandu (Pahichan) November 3 – Lawmaker of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal(RPP-N) Ramdulari Chaudhary said members of gender and sexual minority should be granted free of cost training. She also urged to government to provide free of cost health facilities to the members of this community.
Lawmaker Chaudhary for the implementation of provisions enshrined in new constitution, representation of gender and sexual minority should be guaranteed from grass-root level.
“The constitution has stated gender and sexual minority would get citizenship on the basis of their identity and it is ensured inclusive and proportional representation,” said Chaudhary. She said RPP-N is committed for implementation of new constitution stating that her party is also keen to know about the members of this community.
According to her, members of this community who are facing discrimination should get representation in the political parties. Another lawmaker of RPP-N Dhano Mahara said rights of gender and sexual minority should be implemented. Mahara said gender and sexual minority should take steps to ensure their rights in the new constitution.
