Kathmandu (Pahichan) November 6 – Leaders have committee that members of sexual and gender minority would be accommodated in the new political force which will be formed by Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai. Leader Ram Kumar Sharma who left UCPN(Maoist) to join Bhattarai’s bid to form a new partyon Wednesday said that new party would give space to all caste, religion, community as well as members of gender and sexual minority.
“The new political force will be an inclusive, we will give top priority to gender and sexual minority,” said Sharma. He will accommodate them on the basis of proportional and inclusive representation.
“The Baburam Bhattarai-led new political force will protect gender and sexual minority,” said Sharma adding that new party’s statute would be as per the provisions of new constitution. “We would be different from other traditional parties,” he said adding that constitution has ensured the rights of gender and sexual minority.
