Kathmandu (Pahichan) January 10 – Nepali Congress leader Bal Krishna Dahal has said that he is ready to provide any kinds of support if gender and sexual minority want to join the politics. Speaking to Pahichan Radio program, Dahal said though he is not in a position of influencing NC policy, he is ready to provide assistance from his level.
“In the 12th General Convention, we appointed Bhumika Shrestha as convention representation I am not sure whether party could push the agenda of gender and sexual minority to local level because I am not in a policy making level,” Dahal said.
He said people should not be discriminated on the basis of nature and gestures he\she gets at the time of birth. Dahal said NC is giving priority to inclusive policy. He said people should not be discriminated on any grounds.
