Rupandehi (Pahichan) February 12 – Blue Diamond Society has said that members of LGBTI who are hesitant to come to service center should be provided health service at the field.
Subas Pokhrel who is working in a joint project of BDS, Save the Children and Global Fund, said people who do not want to disclose their identity should not be forced to disclose their identity in the center.
“We should provide them service in the field,” Pokhrel said adding that there is a need of awareness program for the people who want to conceal their identity. Pokhrel reached Bhairahawa to inspect the service provided to HIV infected people. He said all the members of the BDS should be active to secure the rights of this community.
“We have to express solidarity from Mechi to Mahakali” he said. Manila Nepane, chief of regional project informed about the activities launched at local level. Neupane expressed commitment to fulfill the remaining tasks very soon.
