Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 20 – Members of gender and sexual minority have actively participated in the ‘Green Kathmandu, Clean Kathmandu’ launched by Naya Shakti party led by former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.
A team of more than 200 members led by Pinky Gurung, a member of Central Interim Council of Naya Shakti, participated in cleanup campaign. “Along with fighting for our rights, we want to make city clean and attractive so we participated in the campaign,” said Gurung. The campaign launched by Naya Shakti will be continued every Saturday for three months.
