Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 24 – Homosexual and transgender have celebrated the Holy, a festival of color with a fanfare at various parts of the country.
The members of this community enjoyed their festivals exchanging color to each other. In the various parts of the country, LGBTI members celebrated festivals with songs and dances.
Due to the traditional mindset, members of this community are still compelled to live outside their homes. They are tackling various challenges in the society.
They celebrated the festival for the purpose of preserving their cultures. Members of this community celebrated festivals in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Pokhara and other places. Sunil Babu Pant, founder of Blue Diamond Society and former member of Constituent Assembly expressed his wishes on the occasion of holy.
