Kathmandu (Pahichan) April 25 – Gender and Sexual Minority have organized a program to pay tribute to those who were killed in last year’s devastating earthquake.
They observed a minuet silence at Basantapur where Naya Shaki Nepal has organized the program. Naya Shaki Nepal Coordinator Baburam Bhattarai was present in the program.
They paid homage to the departed soul with the flower. To protest the government delay, they have come with black clothes. A member of this community, a staff and father of a staff were killed in earthquake.
Similarly, more than 200 members of this community were affected by earthquake. Blue Diamond Society has already provided relief to them.
After paying tribute, members of this community involved in the cleanup campaign in Basantapur. The program scheduled for Saturdaywas held on Sunday following the decision of Naya Shakti Nepal. There was significant presence of this community in the program.
