Dang (Pahichan) June 5 – Transgender Shilpa Chaudhary has been appointed Dang District Committee member of CPN-UML. Dang UML Chairman Jog Bahadur appointed Chaudhary who was working as regional committee of the party.
Chaudhary said she feels happy after the appointment. “I am active in UML politics since the long time,” Speaking to Pahichan Shipa said, “Party evaluated my works and provided me the responsibility,” she said.
Earlier, she was appointed as member of All Nepal Women Association Dang. She was appointed under minority group. The reason behind her appointment is not only the gender identity but also her performances.
“Our seventh district committee appointed her as member due to her active politic in the party,” said Chairman of Association Mina Gurung. Gurung said there is a need of involving in active politics to get success.
