Kathmandu (Pahichan) August 7 – Lal Bahadur Raut of Federal Socialist Party has said that the issues of sexual and gender minority could be addressed along with addressing the demands of Madhesi Morcha.
He said there has been discrimination to some community while the promulgation of constitution which could be amended to ensure the ownership of all communities.
“We voted for Prachanda after NC-Maoist alliance provided some assurances for us,” said Raut adding that for the continuation of support there is a need of constitution amendment and announcing martyr for the people who lost their life during the insurgency period.
He said new constitution amendment should address the issues of all communities including Madhesi. “The sexual orientation could be incorporated in the new constitution,” he said adding that if there are other issues that could be addressed. Raut expressed such opinion speaking to Pahichan Radio program.
