Kanchanpur (Pahichan) October 3 – Charls Sijapati has been elected as a member of National Voter Rights Forum Kanchanpur from the sexual and gender minority. Sijapati was working in the office of Blue Diamond Society chapter Kanchanpur.
Dalit and Minority Department Head of Naya Shakti Nepal Pinky Gurung who is also Chairman of Blue Diamond Society said members of this community should not be confined only in casting the votes.
She said tendency of exploiting the voters should be ended. Sijapati said now the responsibility has increased and it is a happy moment to get chances to work in the sector of voter rights. Sijapati expressed the commitment that efforts will be made to distribute voting cards on the basis of gender identity.
