Kathmandu (Pahichan) October 16 – Treasurer of Trekking Agent Association of Nepal Lila Balav Dahal Kaka has said that homosexual and transgender could be medium to promote tourism in Nepal.
Speaking to Pahichan Radio program he said that the current constitutional provisions could be source of attraction as more and more tourist are visiting Nepal. “The earlier annual general assembly has concluded that man with differently abled could be the medium of promoting tourism.
Now we will take proposal that gender and sexual minority could be medium of promoting tourism,” he said. He further added that constitutional provision regarding third gender has drawn the attention of international community.
He said that they have already deployed five homosexual as a tourists. He also said that some tourists are facing sexual abuse due to the homosexual behavioral. He, however, said it is not necessary to stuck on policy issues.
