Kathmandu (Pahichan) November 7 – Federation of gender and sexual minority has said that though the donor agencies have stopped to donate, there is a need of protecting institution and campaign. In the 10th Annual General Meeting of Federation, Chairman Manisha Dhakal said though donor agencies do not provide donation, there is a need of saving it.
She said as country is heading to federalism, there is a need of launching the programs on the same way. She said that there is a need of new strategy to advocate for the rights of this community in the federal set up. She also suggested enhancing the capacity. “We should push our agenda in a united way,” she said.
Chairman of Blue Diamond Society Pinky Gurung said to engage in campaign in a sustained way. She said chiefs of projects should take part in the Annual General Meeting. Program Coordinator of Gauri Nepali said as two projects were launched there was 100 percent achievement. She said efforts are underway to bring more projects. Finance Officer of Federation Kailash Adhikari presented the annual details of projects.
