Kathmandu (Pahichan) November 14 – Members of gender and sexual minority are receiving training on individual development orientation. The training has been organized by Meghana Lama and financial assistances were provided by American Embassy Kathmandu.
In the training, members of this community are getting knowledge on journalism, make-up artists, cinema and other industries. Similarly, office bearers of BDS are providing information about the struggle and rights achieved by this community. US Youth Advisory Council Member Lama said such training would play a vital role to change the existing social attitude towards gender and sexual minority.
She suggested the members of this community to devote on capacity building along with the rights. Lama who is also operator of Pink Tifani Restaurant said if the members of this community show and example, it would be an example for other members in the society. The training is being attended by the representatives across the country.
