Kathmandu (Pahichan) November 16 – Singer Sunita Dulal has said social attitude towards gender and sexual minority is becoming positive in comparison to the past. “People used to take in a negative way when I used to attend the television. Now perception is changing and people are realizing that all people are equal,” she said.
She said there would an equitable society if all people are accepted as an equal citizen. She suggested that members of LGBTI should disclose their identity and they should feel pride for being a member of this community.
“There will not be awareness in the society if members of this community openly talk about their rights,” she said adding that it would make ease for them to sing songs accommodating the voices of this community. She said there is need no of discrimination for holding different identity.
