Kathmandu (Pahichan) November 19 – Journalist Gautam Dahal has said that Nepali society is very forward in recognizing the time. Speaking to Pahichan, Dahal said Nepal has a forward-looking provisions than US when it comes to the rights of gender and sexual minority.
“In terms of social development, we are very forward. The decision made by Supreme Court in 2007 has already been mentioned in the constitution. However, there are still some people who are not accepting the decision made by American court in 2014,” he said.
He said Hilary Clinton lost the elections being women and in Nepal President, Speaker and Chief Justice are women. He said there is a tendency of dragging the legs of other in Nepal.
