Police pledges to take action against the person involved in attack  

 

Kathmandu (Pahichan) November 19 – Police Range Gaushala has said that it would take action against Dambar Reule who severely has beaten transgender Kanchi Tamang Dele. Police official Arun Bhandari said that they would take action to him.

He has beaten Kanchi seriously in his eyes.  A day after the he beat the Kanchi, members of gender and sexual minority captured him and submitted to the police. He was transferred to Lalitpur Police Office. Along beating her, the police personal also threatened to kill her.tg

“I have the right to peacefully go to my room,” Kanchi said. A team of Blue Diamond Society reached Gaushala and demanded against the police personnel.

After the demand, the wife of Reule came and she manages the treatment of eyes. Telganga Hospital has requested her to come for a follow-up check up. Kanchi has given a written complaint.

This is not the first time that members of this community are facing attacks. Bhandari said they made a lot of efforts to improve the behaviour of Reule. Gurung said there should be legal action though there has been treatment.
