Rupandehi (Pahichan) December – 7 Dharmaraj Bhattarai, ART Centre Coordinator of Lumbini Zonal Hospital has said that members of this community are under the risk of HIV infection.
He said though the number of homosexual and transgender taking the facility from the centre is increasing, they are reluctant to give their identity. According to him, this could be the provision of writing male and female in the form and there is a need of modifying such forms to address the members of this community.
If this arrangement is made, according to him, it would be easy for the members of this community and collect the authentic data of this community. He said members of this community are equal with male and female and they also deserve the equal rights. He said all the citizen should fight to ensure the rights of this community.
