Dhading (Pahichan) December 8 – Teachers have said that there should be teachers from gender and sexual minority to teach the very issue in the schools. Principal of Mahendra Secondary School Dhading Achyut Aryal said that members of this community have more knowledge than the opposite sex and it is better to teach from this community.
“First provide us knowledge about this community not students, you need to become teachers in schools and colleges,” he said, adding that though it has been incorporated in the curriculam, it has been very difficult to understand.
Currently, the curricula from six to degree level have incorporated the issues of this community. He said they do not have the sufficient answers about the various aspects of this community. Blue Diamond Society has provided information for grade 8 to 10 students about this community.
