Nawalparsi (Pahichan) December 23 – Leaders of various political parties have said that government should provide support to the members of this community. At an interaction program organized by Blue Diamond Society Nawalparsi Chapter, Nepali Congress and Naya Shakti leaders said members of this community should be treated in par with male and female in the society.
Chinak Kurmi of Naya Shakti Nepal said only the donation by foreign countries can not complete the campaign of this community. “Members of this community should get the priority rights to push homosexual and transgender, Kurmi said, “There is a need of priority rights to get economic and social equality,” said Kurmi. He said Naya Shakti has given representation in the political parties.
NC leader Shiva Shankar Yadav said members of this community should get support from government instead of donor agencies. Yadav also underlined the need of priority rights to ensure other social and political rights. Yadav suggested to engage in positive works.
