Kailali (Pahichan) December 30 – Rastriya Prajatantra Party has appointed transgender Monica Shahi as a member of Kailai District Committee of party.
Shahi said it is a matter of happiness that she got the chance to be appointed as member. “It is an honour of all gender and sexual minority.
She expressed a commitment of working in favour of the people and citizen of the country. Monica is the first person in Nepal to receive passport on the basis identity. She is working in the field of human rights.
