Kathmandu (Pahichan) January 4 – Manila Neupane, Office Chief of Blue Diamond Society Rupandehi Branch has said that a large section of people in the Terai districts are marrying without knowing their gender identity. Such tendencies, according to them, have affected their life in their life. This is happening because of the tradition of marrying in the early ages.
“There is a tendency of marrying in the early ages so that members of this community do not know their actual identity,” said Neupane, adding that this is ruining their life. Neupane said equitable society could be formed if they are provided equal rights like male and female.
She said there is tradition of expelling members of this community from their family and society. Though constitution has ensured the rights of this community, the laws have not been formulated. Members of this community should be followed to live together, Neupane said.
