Rupandehi (Pahichan) January 9 – There has been investigation concerning the attack to transgender Santu Pun. Pun, who was operating Juntara Restaurant and bar, was severely beaten when he was on his way to Home. Inspector Madhu Nepal informed the transgender activists Anika Rana about the investigation.
A complaint was filed demanding to investigate the attack. Police has held an all-party meeting after the complaints. Madhu Nepal also expressed a commitment that there will not be discrimination against this community. Nepal expressed the commitment of not repeating the mistakes.
