Kathmandu (Pahichan) January 12 – All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has provided economic assistance to the family members of former national player Mamata.
ANFA provided 50 thousand cash, according to Chief Executive Officer Indraman Tuladhar. The cash was provided to perform the rituals of Mamata.
Similarly, Blue Diamond Society and members of gender and sexual minority provided 60 thousand for the treatment and performing last rites, according to minority rights activist Bhakti Shah.
Thirty two years ago, transgender male Mamata participated in the Asian Women Championship held in Philippines in 1999. Similarly, she participated in the Mayor Cup held in Kathmandu from Kailai.
