Rukshana Kapali/Kathmandu (Pahichan) February 14 – Few staffs and interns of Blue Diamond Society are preparing for WOW Kathmandu event. WOW– Women of the World- is a global movement of festivals and the people who make them. It is coming to Kathmandu for the first time on February 18th 2017 at the Nepal Administrative Staff College, Lalitpur.
In the coming event of WOW Kathmandu, Blue Diamond Society is going to be part of it, in order to explain about LGBTI to participants. The aim of BDS participating in this program is to create awareness about LGBTI among the people who visit as well as providing counselling.
BDS staffs Kusum Bista, Farid Ahmed, Sachin Sawardekar; interns Srijana Ghorasaine and Tsering Dolma are preparing for the program.
