Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 29 – Chief Whip of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum(Loktantrik) Yogendra Chaudhary has said that along with gender and sexual minority all the minority groups are facing difficulties due to vote-politics. Speaking to Pahichan, he said parties should concentrate on pro- people agenda rather than concentrating on vote-politics.
“Parties are launching their activiities targeting the votes. Politics is a social service and it should address the people who do not have rights and discriminated,” Chaudhary said. He said the constitution has provided rights to this community and there is a need of formulating laws to address their demands fully.
He said members of this community should play their role in the changing context. He suggested the members of this community to be organized. “Members of this community should disclose their identity and they should be organized,” Chaudhary said.
