Kathmandu (Pahichan) April 21 – Transgender rights activist Sushila Lama said started a shoe shop in Shankhamul Tower located in Shankhamul. The shop was set up two monts ago and name of ship is Anshu Ladies and Gents Shoe Center.
There was a grand opening of shoe shop few days ago. “I face a lot of ups and down. Now, I have decided to start a business life,” Sushila said.
She said the shop fulfills the demands of all people. She is invested 12 lakh and will have to pay 15 thousand monthly rent. The initial business is satisfactory and she is hopeful that it will further become satisfactory.
Of, late, members of gender and sexual minority are starting their own business. “The jobs of BDS and donor agencies would not be durable. So this business gives us respect,” said Lama.
