Kailali (Pahichan) April 24 – Far-western Society Dhangadi Coordinator Raju Lama has underlined the need of viewing the gender and sexual minority from the lens of equality. Lama said there are problems as members of this community are viewed in a different way than male and female in the society. 
Speaking at an orientation program regarding transgender and inter-sex by Society in Dhangadi, Lama said the role of student is very vital for the construction of equitable society.
Lama provided the information about this community to the more than one hundred students. Students said they lack knowledge about this community and they have a wrong understanding ofinfertility about this community.
In the program, Human rights activist Bibek Singh informed about the problems faced by homosexual and transgender in the society and family. Students made the commitment of lending their support to end the discrimination against this community.
