Kathmandu (Pahichan) May 31 – Chairman of Nepal Tarun Dal Jitjung Basnet has said that there will be representation of gender and sexual minority in the Central Committee of Tarun Dal.
Speaking to Pahichan, Basnet said that the statute of Dal has ensured the provisions of inclusiveness and it will be reflected in the Central Committee as well. “I want to say with a confidence there will be representation of Janajati, women, Muslim and gender and sexual minority,” said Basnet, adding that demands of this community are of national importance.
Basnet said that the while society is embroiled in the corruption and there is a need of collective efforts to end corruption and other bad things in the society. He said senior citizens in the society should give up the corrupted mindset to bring a change in the society. He said once the society becomes civilized, the discrimination will come to an end.
