Lalitpur (Pahichan) July 22 – Parichaya Samaj, Lalitpur Branch Office of Blue Diamond Society Moranjan Kumar Baidya has said that they are working to ensure the zero number of HIV infections by 2020.
The office established in 2020 is working to prevent the infection of HIV AIDS. The program is being targeted to MSM, MSW and TGS.
According to him, there are some people who do not wish to disclose their identity. “Due to the lack of budget we are facing difficulties to launch the projects. There is not support from government agencies. Therefore we are facing difficulties,” he said.
He said though it was difficult to work in the initial days, the situation is gradually improving. He said members of this community are still hesitant to disclose their identity.
