Kathmandu (Pahichan) September 12 – There are preparations to incorporate the issues of gender and sexual minority from primary level to high-level education.
The Curriculum Development Center under Ministry of Education has made such preparations. There are already issues of gender and sexual minority in the primary and lower secondary.
The Center informed this at a National Consultative Meeting (NCM) held in Pokhara. Yubaraj Adhikari Development Officer at Centre informed that there are preparations to incorporate the issues of the issues of this community in the grade 11 and 12.
“We are in the process of finalizing the curricula incorporating the issues of gender and sexual minority in the course,” said Adhikari.
