Kathmandu (Pahichan) September 25 – Ramesh Raut, ward no-3 Chair of Halesituwachung has said that there is a need of orientation to people’s representatives about gender and sexual minority. Raut who has the background of student politics, said that there is need of informing people’s representatives about LGBTI issues than the general people.
“When I was engaged in student politics, I got an opportunity of learning the issues of gender and sexual minority from proximity,” he said, adding that many people’s representatives have a very narrow-mind set about gender and sexual minority.
