Kathmandu (Pahichan) January 10 – Nepali Congress (NC) leader who is elected as lawmaker from province no. 7 Rana Bahadur Rawal has said that NC would fight for the rights of sexual and gender minority. Speaking to Pahichan, Rawal said all the citizens must get equal opportunity and respect and it is a campaign of NC.
“NC is a party which always fights for the individual freedom so we will also fight for sexual and gender minority,” Rawal said adding that NC would make effort to create an appropriate environment for LGBTI community. Rawal said as an opposition party, NC will perform watchdog role.
