Kathmandu (Pahichan) January 27 – Youth Political Analyst Shankar Tiwari has said that though new constitution is gay and transgender friendly, change in mindset of policy makers has not taken place. Speaking to Pahichan, Tiwari new constitution is progressive for the sexual and gender minority.
Tiwari said legal and constitutional rights are yet to be implemented. “Only the changes in the current situation of society and mindset of leaders could pave the way for the overall development,” he said. “Even today leaders of older generation are leading the constitution so that progressive constitution and polices are yet to be implemented,” Tiwari said.
