Kathmandu (Pahichan) February 12 – Senior leader of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal Laxman Lal Karna said the constitution rights have not been implemented due to the lack of political willpower.
Speaking to Pahichan, leader Karna said sexual and gender minority have received a lot of rights. He said along with Madhesi and janajati, several ethnic groups are not receiving rights. He said rules have snatched the rights of this community.
He underlined the need of collective effort to institutionalize the rights of gender and sexual minority. He said only collective struggle would yield the positive result.
According to him, if all members of this community receive rights, it would be helpful for the development of country. He said no one can deny the rights to LGBTI.
