Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 4 – Central Committee member of Bibekshil Sajha Party Subuna Basnet has said that the party has been formed with a purpose of establishing the rights of those people who are denied from their rights.
Basnet said the party could launch a campaign of establishing the rights of sexual and gender minority. “In the future campaign of our party, the rights provided constitution to this community could be incorporated,” Basnet said. She said Campaign Department, a department out of 12 party departments, can make decision about it taking up the issue of this community.
She said Legal Department could think about linking this community in the party. She, however, said that she cannot alone take decision about launching such campaign.
“It would not be appropriate to answer right now. The proposal made by department will have to be endorsed by Central Committee,” she added. We can support member of this community to engage in entrepreneurship. “I am ready to give suggestions on entrepreneurship,” she said.
She said that people who are against corruption can join party or support the campaign. “We appeal all including sexual and gender minority to support our campaign,” said Basnet.
