Rupandehi (Pahichan) April 2 – Ward no. 3 Chairman of Siddhartha Municipality Thaneshwor Poudel has requested members of sexual and gender minority to express their problems without any hesitations.
Poudel said that there are still discrimination and blames against this community as there is a lack of proper understanding. Local representatives, according to Poudel, do not have sufficient knowledge about this community.
Speaking to Pahichan, Poudel said members of this community must participate in each and every program of government and they must tell their issues in the local level.
He said UML district committee supports the campaign of this community and Blue Diamond Society must cooperate in this campaign. Poudel assured that members of this community will get equal rights liked other marginalized community get.
