Indira Neupane/Hetauda (Pahichan) March 12- Anchal Sahitaya Kala Punja has conferred the 10 persons in Makawanpur districts on the auspicious occasion of 105 international women’s day. One of them is transgender. Those people were conferred for their outstanding contribution in the society.
Juli Chepang, a transgender has been conferred for her contribution to ensure the rights of homosexuals and transgender. She is actively being involved in various social campaigns disclosing her identity in the society.
Despite the discrimination in the society, she is playing a vital role in the Makawanpur district to ensure the rights and end the discrimination against the sexual minorities. Upbeat by the appreciation, she said award will encourage her to work for ensuring the rights of sexual minorities.
