Kathmandu (Pahichan) October 9 – Kathmandu District Court has given a clean chit to Muskan KC after the allegations against KC were not proved. A single bench of court led by Tejendra Prasad Sharma Sapkota made such decision, according to official Dhurba Upreti.
The full-text of verdict has not been prepared. Police has arrested Muskan on Shrawan 29 from Bhotahiti on some charges. However, police failed to present Lama in the court. “The charges were baseless and fabricated,” said Advocate Prem Bahadur Thapa.
According to Advocate Sujan Panta, though 15 thousand was stolen only five thousand was found. “It has been clear that police administration tried to convict him on the false charges,” Panta said. Police team led by Binod Ghimire has arrested Muskan on the charges of stealing fifteen thousand from Pathana Kumar Lama. However, police in court admitted that there was only five thousand in his pocket.
Advocate Thapa said police is manhandling homosexual and transgender on false charges. Chairman of Blue Diamond Society Pinki Gurung said police has giving torture on false charges. Muskan said though police tried to impose some false charges, court has given justice.
