Kathmandu (Pahichan) October 27 – Government has said that new Prison would be gender friendly. Government has already decided to make Prison gender friendly which will be constructed at Bidur of Nuwakot district. General Director of Department of Prison Management HimNath Dawadi informed that new Prison would be gender friendly.
“The homosexuals and transgender could be put in a separate room and for that to happen who should study the verdict of court,” he said.
He said in the new Prison there should be separate room for transgender, HIV effected people. According to him, new Prison would be constructed within next four years. He said that he does not know though homosexual and transgender would be put in separate Prison now.
