Kathmandu (Pahichan) May 7 – Singer Tika Prasai has said that homosexual and transgender is a gift of god. Prasai said homosexual and transgender are equal like male and female.
Prasai said members of this community should not be discriminated, and she would always respect to this community. According to her, members of this community are facing discrimination due to the lack of awareness in the society.
“The constitutional guarantee of rights of this community is not sufficient, there should be massive awareness campaign,” Prasai said adding that along with male and female there are homosexual and transgender. Prasai said she is always ready to provide assistances to make an equitable society.
