Kathmandu (Pahichan) May 24 – Singer Babita Manandhar has said that she is ready to provide assistances to the gender and sexual minority. Speaking to Pahichan Radio program, she said if her help makes a difference, she is ready to provide any kinds of help.
Manandhar said she is ready to sing songs highlighting the issues of gender and sexual minority. She said like male and female transgender are equal and they should be ready to announce from the stage.
“In other countries, members of this community are facing discrimination which is a sad,” said Manandhar. She said society should treat this community in an equal manner.
According to her, members of this community are reluctant to disclose their identity. She praised the campaign launched by Blue Diamond Society and requested all to provide their assistance.
