Kanchanpur (Pahichan) May 30 – Anisha Dhamala bagged the award of Miss Pink Far-western region. The beauty competition was organized by Sahayatra Nepal Mahendra Nagar, chapter of Blue Diamond Society.
There were 11 participants in the peasant. Shila Singh became first runner up and Nima Chaudhary second runner up. The Best Hair title was bagged by Saraswoti Gurung, The Best West Dress award was won by Nisha Chaudhary.
Similarly, the best catwalk title was achieved any Anusha Chaudhary and Conginiya was by Niran Chaudhary. Similarly, Suman Chaudhary became best personality and Junu Rawat became confidential. Samira Chaudhary achieved Best Figure Award. The far-western Vice-Chairman of Federation of Gender and Sexual Minority Raju Lama said such competition would be helpful to end the discrimination against the gender and sexual minority.
Rightist Activist Bhumika Shrestha said all the stakeholders should contribute from their respective filed to ensure the rights of gender and sexual minority. The guests of the competiion said such program would be helpful to end discrimination. Transgender rights activist Monica Shahi said members of this community wanted to join Nepal Army, Nepal Policy and Civil Service. “However, due to the behavior of state, members of this community are not allowed to compete,” said Shahi.
