Kathmandu (Pahichan) October 23 – Director of One Short Movi Jalo and Singer Mohit Munal has said that members of gender and sexual minority should make their own initiation the cinema sector. Speaking to Pahichan Program, he said awareness could be spread through the film in the society.
“If the issues of this community are presented through songs and cinemas, there will be immediate positive impact in the society. Members of this community should take initiation for the same purpose,” Munal said adding that members of this community should take a lead to participate in this sector. He said members of this community should do for themselves.
He said no members of this community have approached him until now. He said there is gradual change in the society on how to view the members of this community. He said in the film sector all the citizens are equal. He said there is discrimination to this community due to the lack of proper knowledge in the society.
