काठमाडैं(पहिचान) असोज १३ नेपालमा पहिलो पटक दक्षिण एशियाली समलिंगी पुरुषबीच ह्याण्डसम प्रतियोगिता हुने भएको भएको छ । कात्तिक १६ गते हुने समलिंगी पुरुषको ह्याण्डसम प्रतियोगितामा दक्षिण एशियाका समलिंगी पुरुषले भाग लिने नील हिरा समाजका संस्थापक सुनीलबाबु पन्तले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।

प्रतियोगितामा नेपालबाट विभिन्न क्षेत्रीय र जातीय आधारमा प्रतिनिधित्व हुनेछ । विजेता अर्थात मिष्टर ह्याण्डसमले नगद पुरस्कार सहित अन्य पुरस्कार पाउने समाजको शाखा कार्यालय पिङ ट्रयाङ्गलका बासु गुरागाईले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।

समलिंगी पुरुषलले लुकेर बस्नु पर्ने अवस्था अन्त्य गरी सबै नागरिक सरह स्वतन्त्र जीवन निर्वाह गर्नका लागि सहयोग गर्ने उद्देश्यले मिष्टर ह्याण्डसम प्रतियोगिता आयोजना गर्न लागिएको पन्तले जानकारी दिनुभयो ।

ANNOUNCING THE FIRST
“MR. HANDSOME – GAY TALENT AND COURAGE CONTEST”
Pink Triangle Nepal, a branch of the Blue Diamond Society, is proud to sponsor Nepal’s first all gay male talent and courage contest to be held November 2, 2013 in Kathmandu.
The contest will be titled “MR. HANDSOME – GAY TALENT AND COURAGE CONTEST”. This is a first of its kind event in Nepal and participants will be drawn from across the country and from different regional, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. The pageant will include competition in Talent, Fitness, Courage, Elegance, and other interesting categories. The winners in all categories, as well as the “Mr. Handsome” overall winner, will receive cash prizes and other gifts.
As an branch of Blue Diamond Society, Nepal’s largest and most extensive provider of LGBT services, counseling and advocacy, Pink Triangle Nepal implements a multitude of HIV/Aids awareness programs and health and crisis services with a focus on Gay-identified men and other masculine MSM.
This will be the premiere pageant of its kind in South Asia.
The goals of this long-awaited contest are:
 to help Gay-identified and other homosexual men come out of the closet
 to raise awareness about HIV/STI, gender and sexuality
 to dispel the myth that all sexual/gender minorities are effeminate
 to promote human rights, dignity and equality
 to help families accept gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender children
Pink Triangle Nepal is seeking additional sponsors from the Business, Civic, and Service Community. Donations for Monetary Awards or Prizes would be most welcome and advertising opportunities are available for interested businesses or other groups.
