Kathmandu (Pahichan) March 27 – Chief Whip of Federal Socialist Party Dr. Shivaji Yadav has said that issues of gender and sexual minority should be addressed without any delay.
Speaking to Pahichan he said as constitution has addressedhomosexual, third gender, bisexual and inter-sexual as gender and sexual minority its spirit should be implemented.
“Homosexual are maintaining a live together relation so they should be provided withmarriage rights,” said Yadav, adding that as constitution has provided the rights of citizenship, country can not deny them the rights to marry.
He said it is better to provide such right in civil code. “There is a tendency in Nepal to mention everything in the constitution but not implementing them which should be removed,” Yadav said.
